User flows are high-level diagrams which illustrate the various paths a user can follow. They can highlight entry points, critical decision points, and dead ends. These views give us a perspective to ensure the user has a clear path to the information they need, or task they need to complete.
A user flow is not a customer journey, which additionally leverages a personas, touchpoints, and the emotional impact of their journey.
